Our Story

During childhood, we remember mom making us dresses and outfits, and from that fond memory, we all grew up with a passion for sewing. From wedding dresses, to quilts, to stuffed animals, to clothes for our kids, we continue to enjoy and master our craft.

We founded our company on the desire to extend our sewing talents into both a fun and profitable venture. We're not a mega-factory cranking out the same run-of-the-mill, poor-quality hats for twice as much as they're worth. We're just a small family-run operation sewing hats by hand to ensure lasting quality and uniqueness at an affordable price. We pride ourselves on our workmanship.

Baylee & Mazey's Baby Hat Company News!

On January 1, 2008, we launched our new domain -- babyhatscompany.com.

On October 22, 2007, we changed our name to Baylee & Mazey's Baby Hat Company. We are the same company, owned and managed by the same people, offering the same great hats your tots will flip their lids over, and providing the same level of customer service you've come to expect... we just have a different name.

Three of our hat styles (sailor, train engineer, and beret) appeared in a Halloween costume section of the October 2002 issue of Parents magazine! View the photo spread that appeared in the magazine. And on October 25, 2002, these same hats were modeled on the Today Show! We couldn't be prouder!
