Washing Instructions

We prewash most of our fabrics to help prevent excess shrinkage.

Refer to the following washing/cleaning guidelines for our hats:

• Cotton-based and fleece hats: Wash like colors together; machine wash warm; tumble dry low; no bleach.
  
  
• Wool newsboy caps: Dry-clean only.
  
  
• Little Comforts knitted hats: Avoid washing extensively as they may lose their shape. If you must wash one, hand wash it in cool water using mild baby shampoo and 1/8 cup white vinegar. Rinse thoroughly. Roll gently in a towel to remove excess water. Dry on towel. To store, roll hat edges to donut shape. Lay flat.
  
  
• Sybel Anne crocheted hats: Machine or hand wash warm with mild soap. Rinse in cold water. Tumble dry at a low setting.
  
  
• Feather Boa Fleece Bonnet: Avoid washing or use extra special care when washing to avoid damaging the feather boa.
